Two things you can do today
The first one measures what the bar is costing you, with no judgement. The second walks you step by step to handing something in at “good enough” — which is exactly what perfectionism will not let you do.
1 · The cost meter
It does not measure how demanding you are: it measures what the bar is costing you. Tick what you recognise from the last month.
The list is heavily ticked, and that is already touching your rest, your health or your relationships. It is not a lack of character: it is a bar that turned into a regime. If hopelessness or thoughts of harming yourself show up as well, the lines are open around the clock: 123 and 106 in Colombia, 988 in the United States, 116 123 for Samaritans in the United Kingdom, and findahelpline.com anywhere else.

2 · The good-enough experiment
Pick one concrete task, define in advance what would count as “good enough”, and hand it in at that point. You get the script back.
